About The Probate Network
The Probate Network is a network of solicitors, located across England and Wales, who have agreed to provide a free 20 minute consultation to people who are dealing with the estate of deceased friend or relative.
Each solicitor in the network has agreed to provide a free 20 minute consultation to answer your questions. The Network accepts that you may use the call to gain some initial guidance before you administer the estate yourself. You may even want to ask the question, "Do I need probate?" because it's not always necessary.
However, some estates can be complicated and may become time consuming. If you do decide to instruct a professional following your consultation, we hope that you will choose a solicitor from The Probate Network. What we promise is:
The solicitor you speak with will be a fully qualified solicitor who is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales and is regulated by the SRA.
Following your consultation there will be no obligation to use the services of the solicitor you speak with. However, we do hope that if you decide you need the services of a legal professional you will return to your Probate Network solicitor for further advice.
We ask you to review the checklist prior to your consultation to ensure you are prepared and have all the information necessary to obtain the best advice. With both the checklist information and the free 20-minute consultation your legal position will become much clearer.
